Little pants!

I just finished a pair of little knitted pants for my grand-niece, who is a few months old. The yarn is hand-spun superwash Bluefaced Leicester, and hand-dyed with Japanese indigo from my garden.

Don't look too closely at the ribbed band at the top, it's not quite the same width on each side ( hard as I try, there are ALWAYS mistakes in my knitting).

  1. Oh they are so sweet!

Do you know the story of the Persian Flaw? We use that as our excuse for the little mistakes in our projects...

    (btw I wouldn't have noticed).

  2. Hi Adrienne!

I hadn't heard about the Persian flaw, but thank you, thank you! I knew there must be a good reason for all of my little mistakes! I'm sure I've unconsciously been following the principle of the Persian flaw all this time!
