Darn. Our internet service is all wonky, so I can't see the video...
I've only tried spinning yarn with a drop spindle - it is relaxing (once you get past making a tangled mess).

I tried a drop spindle ages ago. It got spinning into my head and it's never really left. I think my cats would rule out drop spindles for me now - talk about tangled messes!
