Hi Kim!

I know - hilarious! I wonder if the other frogs had a good laugh at his expense : )

I have to know...what are those in your top banner? Cakes? They are just darling, not sure I could eat one, Kim

Funny picture! Lucky you were able to see him at such a cute moment.

Hi teresa!

My daughter spotted him first - I can't take the credit, but I took the picture : )

Hi Kim!

The funny things in the top banner are different flavors of gelato displayed in a whimsical manner. I spotted them early on a hot morning on the island of Rhodes.

We noticed that later in the day, the longest line was at this particular gelato shop. Clever marketing can do wonders!

Lovely shot of the frog!

I like those gelatos, too. They're so creative, it's a shame to eat them....NOT!

What a sweet little frog!

I'm off to check out the contest. A while back I posted pictures I took in the garden from the ground up - I love that perspective.

Hi Garden Lily!

The gelatos keep you alive when you're doing tourist duty on a hot day!

Hi adrienne!

It is a sweet little frog, but I don't expect him to win (there are tons of photos entered which literally make me say, "Wow!").

Between you and me the photo is probably a bit of a cheat - the frog wasn't in my garden, he was on the edge of a farmer's field (which is sort of a garden, I guess), and I was standing up when I took it because the frog was on the leaf of a very tall plant.

But he's so sweet with his little, flowered bottom that I thought I would share : )

Our frogs are loud, but reclusive...wish we could cop a peek, but I'll settle for yours. Thanks for sharing...you're a winner in my book.

Hi ricki! - Thanks! I'm happy that some people are enjoying the picture - it was too cute not to share.

Hi an artistsgargen! - I popped over to your blog, VERY nice. I loved your flower fairies post!

Hi heirloomgardener! - I'm thrilled to have put a smile on someone's face. I'm planning on growing heirloom veggies for the first time next year - I'm very excited!

Hi Mr. McGregor's Daughter!

My froggy is cute, but your photo is drop dead gorgeous!

He is such a sweet froggy! Wonder did one of the others sneak up behind him and put the flower on his bottie?

ICQB said...

Hi Chookie!

What a laugh! Frogs must have a good sense of humor : )
