Happy November!

A few snowflakes are falling from the sky this morning. I hope they don't start falling en masse anytime soon - I've still got the whole backyard to rake!

That is far too early!
Have you had night frost yet?
I want to remember to cover my outdoor fuchsia's in time, so the flowers hang on there a bit longer. 15 degrees Celsius tomorrow. Still lovely walking weather in the sunshine.

Hi Jo!

Yes, we've had frost already. My late-planted peas and my calendula are still hanging in there!

I covered my calendula over last night - it was supposed to get down to about 30 F (which I think is somewhere around 12 C?)

Sunshine does make a difference, though. We haven't got any today.

It's been a long time since I've had to rake a big pile of leaves - I'm sure that's the only reason it sounds kind of fun to me right now. :)

That's what I'm thinking whenever I'm raking, or shoveling, or mowing, or hoeing.....
